Website design for Winston-Salem small businesses
A site that explains what you do in plain words, works on every phone, and is built from day one to show up when people nearby search for what you do.
The Problem
Most small business sites look fine and bring in nothing
Most sites are built for launch day, then left alone. The words are vague, the pages load slowly, nobody set up the Google Business Profile, and nobody knows if the contact form still works.
We build the site and the parts around it that make it bring in work: the words, the search setup, the lead tracking, and the upkeep after launch.
What We Build
Four ways to get a site that works
New websites
Custom design in your brand, up to 8 pages to start. We write the words from a short interview, so you never stare at a blank page.
Site refreshes
A new look and faster pages for the site you already have, keeping the words that already work.
Launch and migration
Built a site yourself, or had someone else build it? We fix what needs fixing, move it off the old host, and forward every old page address so old links and search results still land on the right page.
Forms and lead tools
Contact, quote, and booking forms that land in your inbox, with spam protection. For more, see our own Clarity Check: a quiz with scoring and a results email.
Included
What comes with every new site
No surprise add-ons for the basics. Every new site includes:
- The words on every page, written for you, with a round of edits
- Pages that work on phones, tablets, and desktops
- The behind-the-scenes setup that helps Google read every page
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console set up
- Your Google Business Profile set up
- A contact form that emails you, with spam protection
- Launch on your own domain, with a security certificate
How It Works
From first call to launch in about 3 to 4 weeks
1. A 30-minute discovery call
What you do, who you want to reach, and what the site needs to do for you.
2. Interview and writing
A 30 to 60 minute interview. We write the words and send them over for your edits.
3. Design and build
You review everything on a private preview link before anyone else sees it.
4. Launch and keep it running
We launch on your domain. Our Hosting & Care plan keeps it fast and secure, and our local SEO plan helps it show up in local search.
After Launch
A website is the start, not the finish
A new site helps Google read your business. It does not make anyone find it. That takes steady work every month, which is what our local SEO plan does.
Every site we build also runs on our hosting and care plan, so updates, backups, and small edits are handled.
Questions
What people usually ask
How long does a new website take?
About 3 to 4 weeks from kickoff for a new site of up to 8 pages. A refresh of an existing site takes about 2 weeks.
Do I have to write the words?
No. We write them from your current site and a 30 to 60 minute interview, and you get a round of edits.
Will I own my website and domain?
Yes. You own your domain, your content, and your site. If you ever leave, we hand everything over.
Do you only work with businesses in Winston-Salem?
No. We are based in Winston-Salem and work with businesses across the Triad, Charlotte, and the Southeast, in person or remote.
